Das Dino-Eye AM4023CT bietet die Möglichkeit mit einem C-Mount Adapter (nicht im Lieferumfang enthalten) herkömmliche optische Geräte,wie Endoskope oder Mikroskope anzuschliessen. Über die USB-Schnittstelle lässt sich das Dino-Eye schnell und bequem am Rechner installieren.
Mit dem beigelieferten Softwarepaket, DinoCapture für Windows und DinoXcope für Macintosh, lässt zich innerhalb kurzer Zeit das Live-Bild auf dem Rechner oder Projektor erzeugen. Außerdem kann der Anwender Bilder und Videos aufzunehmen und diese speicheren. Bilder können zusätzlich bemessen oder entsprechend beschriftet werden. Das Dino-Eye AM4023CT ist ein Kamera zur Digitalisierung herkömmlicher optischen Geräten, und verfügt daher nicht über eine eingebaute Vergrößerung.
